poultry roasted gooseIngredients: 

1 large goose
6 apples, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
5 garlic cloves
salt
pepper
marjoram

 

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Rub the goose with salt, pepper, and marjoram – on the outside and inside. Stuff with apples cut into squares. Fasten together.
  2. Put the bird in the heatproof dish breast down, pour the juice and put in the oven preheated to 200°C.
  3. Add garlic and roast for 90 minutes.
  4. 30 minutes before the end of roasting time put apples around the goose. While roasting, pour the juices over the goose.
